Quick answers to common questions about the festival.

How do I register my students?

Create an account on our website, add your students as participants, then select the events you wish to enter them in. Once you've completed your selection, proceed to checkout and make payment via EFT. Upload your proof of payment and await confirmation.

What are the entry deadlines?

The regular entry deadline is 27 March 2026. Late entries are accepted until 10 April 2026 with a 50% surcharge. No entries are accepted after 10 April.

How much does it cost to enter?

Solo sections cost R220, concertos and recitals cost R300, duets and ensembles cost R120 per player, and choirs/orchestras cost R550 per group. See the full fee schedule for details.

How do I make payment?

Payment is made via EFT to our bank account. After checkout, you'll receive the banking details. Use your name and order number as the payment reference, then upload proof of payment on your dashboard. Your entries will be confirmed once payment is verified.

When will I know my performance time?

Performance schedules are finalized after the entry deadline closes and all entries are confirmed. You'll receive detailed timing information via email approximately 2-3 weeks before the festival begins.
